Thank you to everyone at the full moon gathering 🌕
It was a beautiful night. The moon came up a bit after 6 and for a while nobody said anything. Someone brought a guitar and then someone else brought a different guitar. Thank you to everyone who came, and everyone who took their rubbish home.
About the jars
We need to say something about the jars. We suggested people bring a small jar to take some salt home and observe it, and we thought that was a lovely idea. A few people have since gently pointed out that you are not allowed to take things from a nature reserve, and that includes the sand.
So please leave your jar at home from now on, and if you did take some, we are sorry for suggesting it.
Dam Kings Beach also put out a statement about the jars working out how many we would need. We don't think that was very helpful.
You can still observe the salt. Just do it there, and fill in the Salt Observation Log when you get home.
